What do we do?
Creative Design & Marketing Inc. (CDMI) is designed to help small to mid-sized manufacturers be proactive and develop market appropriate programs. We specialize in the Licensed Product industry and draw on over 30 years of experience to fulfill our customers unique needs in this market. Our primary goal is to recognize and penetrate today’s new channels of distribution while increasing sales in traditional marketing areas. We engage with our clients in an advisory role to develop marketing strategy. Our expertise at all levels of the value chain offer essential insight to maximizing success in this challenging retail environment. CDMI will work with individuals in the office in the capacity of a VP of Sales and Marketing for clients who chose not to invest the fixed salary and expenses associated with hiring a qualified in-house person.
How do we do it?
It begins with personal attention from our ownership, Steven and Joe Kaufman. Starting with diagnosing the issues and challenges, a road map for the engagement is developed. Typically, we address each area of marketing strategy with a goal to prepare the client for successful sales, delivery, and sell-through in key national accounts.
Successful relationships are built on the understanding of exactly what will be the responsibility of CDMI and what will continue to be handled by the client’s central office. The extent of our responsibility varies from client to client, but our functions may include hiring independent contractors, training, developing efficient policies and programs, product development and sourcing, assisting in creation of "rep-friendly" sales literature and pricing, pricing and inventory analysis, attending appropriate trade shows, expanding and developing new products, and much more depending on client needs.
